I was born and brought up in small industrial town Halol in Gujarat. My family hails from Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh, my forefathers were farmers. Since my early days, I have been a keen observer and thinker of things going around us.
During my class 11, one of our teachers asked us to write down on a paper what we all wanted to be? I was always reluctant to dream, I always thought about what others would think of me and always said that I would like to become an engineer and work for a big company. But that particular day, that particular teacher told us to write it on a paper and we don't even have to mention our names on the paper. On that day, I wrote that I want to become a neurosurgeon. And destiny took its turn, an average student from a small town and humble background went on to become Neurosurgeon from India’s one of the best institute NIMHANS.

- Why do you want to become what you just wrote?
- And How would you achieve it?
I was perplexed about why I wanted to become a neurosurgeon, because in reality I wanted to become Neurosurgeon as one of my friends told me that it was his dream to become Neurosurgeon and I always saw him as my inspiration.
But this question of WHY troubled me, I was a bit confused and perplexed at that very moment. At that moment I wrote I wanted to become a doctor - a neurosurgeon to serve humanity.
I am lucky enough to find this opportunity through this Helping Soul foundation. I hope I would be able to serve this humanity and make my this life worthy.
